JON JUNG, CHURCH PLANTING ASSOCIATE
Jon was born in Korea, but moved to South Africa at the age of six, where he grew up and went to medical school at the University of Pretoria. After completing his Master of Divinity, he came to the Philadelphia area to work on his PhD in New Testament at Westminster Theological Seminary. His dissertation was on Resurrection in Daniel and Matthew. Jon and Stacey have three boys, Timothy (11), Nathan (9), and Isaac (0).
In his free time, Jon enjoys playing music, watching and playing basketball, chess, and video games with his boys.
DAVID NAKHLA, ELDER
David grew up in an Orthodox Presbyterian church in Southern California where he was ordained both as a deacon (1997) and later as a ruling elder (2002). He and Faith have been married since 1995 and they have five (mostly grown) children and a son-in-law. After 15 years working as an electrical engineer, in 2010 the Lord led David to full-time service for the OPC in the areas of mercy ministries and short-term missions. In his travels for the church, he has worshipped in 27 countries and 22 different languages!
David is thrilled to be part of planting a faithful church in Fox Chase! In his spare time, David enjoys working on his home and being with his family.
